While I love chocolate strawberries for a Valentine’s dessert, sometimes it is fun to spice it up a little. Here are 3 Valentine’s dessert ideas to impress your loved ones!
1. Valentine’s Personal Bundt Cakes
For the at-home bakers and cake decorators, this is a fun option. I made a strawberry cake in the cutest bundt pan and decorated with lemon cream cheese icing. The pan I used made 6 personal bundt cakes (similar linked here), and I decorated with fresh strawberries and lemon zest.
You can mix it up with your own flavors, or even buy if you are low on time or feeling lazy. My favorite place to buy is Nothing Bundt Cakes; they have tons of flavors to pick from with super moist cakes with yummy cream cheese icing.
2. Strawberry Muffins
Whether you are making just for you or your significant other, or others, strawberry muffins are a perfect sharable Valentine’s dessert. In college, I liked making a big batch and handing out to friends on Valentine’s Day. My favorite recipe are the Honey Strawberry Muffins by Half Baked Harvest.
3. Chocolate Whipped Cream Cake Dessert
For the chocolate lovers, this cake is a crowd favorite. It is light and pairs well with strawberries, but also has a super yummy chocolate flavor. You can make it into cupcake or trifle form, and it is super easy to whip up – especially for a Valentine’s Dessert that might need to be made on a weekday or between other activities.
